How it works

Practise at your own level.

How much of the conversation happens in your own language. Say scale in the chat to move it, any time, and a plan can walk it up for you over a few weeks. Whichever pair you pick, the five steps are the same.

1
zeroFrom scratch โ€” I explain in [your own language] and feed you [your language] a piece at a time
2
littleA little โ€” real [your language] phrases, explained in [your own language]
3
halfIntermediate โ€” I speak [your language] and catch you in [your own language]
4
mostlyComfortable โ€” mostly [your language], [your own language] only when you're properly stuck
5
allFluent โ€” all [your language], no safety net, I'll rephrase rather than translate

Or a course, if open-ended isn't your thing

A fixed run of days with everything switched on, paid once, ending on its own. 7, 21, 90 days are the ones on offer. The day-by-day part arrives on WhatsApp.

Why a place and not a language code

The name of a language hides a question: which one, spoken where? Two cities can share a language on paper and still carry different words, different accents, different small talk โ€” close enough to confuse a textbook, different enough to matter in a real conversation. That's as true of a minority language with a handful of valleys between dialects as it is of one spoken on two continents. Every cat is tied to one place, and the instruction to stay in that variety goes out with every message.
